In addition to the 39 species of natural enemies of the potato tuber worm, Phthorimaea operculella, given in the Stored-Product Insect Resources book, the following 42 species have been reported in the literature to parasitize the potato tuber worm. Izhevskiy (1985) says that “It would be difficult to find another pest species whose entomophages were introduced into so many countries (more than 20) in such large scale (about 30 species)”.
